Never mind the pesky weather!
Rain, rain go away
We were pretty sure we wouldn’t melt
But I think Blue was saying “What the heck?”
When I started to saddle him

We followed the trails
the ATVs have packed down
More splashin' than mudding

Galloping
Laughter in the rain

Now that sounded like fun!! Rain doesn't bother me much either~ just the thunder/lightening.
ReplyDeleteToday doesn't look bad at all~ More riding today? Enjoy! 90's next week...
I was rain or nothing this week huh? Way to make the best of the situation.
ReplyDeleteIs that a flooded trail or a creek?
ReplyDeleteWhere we are standing in the water is usually a trickle of a mud creek. More of a run off than anything. But it was coming off the fields so fast, it washed away some of the bottom & created a little waterfall. It was almost up to Blue's chest & I wouldn't let him go any farther. Would have liked to, but had my phone and camera in my saddle bag and worried we might fall into a hole & get them wet.
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteWow! I'm impressed! Such exciting adventures! I'm glad you had such a great time...and instead of dancing in the rain, you got to ride and laugh in the rain. Pretty darn awesome!
